Reference to last line on operator input at beginning of line
closed
Why can't I start typing, then empty the line and enter an operator as first character and get the reference to last line?
The documentation [1] states:
> 2. Type an operator (like +) immediately after typing return to start a new line:
Why is this limited to "immediately after hitting return" ?
I would like to see this also work after I started typing and then changed mind and erased everything and start my new line with an opterator.

You might want to put a + or - or / at the start of a line. So the insertion behaviour will only happen right after a return, to give you the chance to delete the reference (if you don't actually want it).
