Choose radian or degrees in the actions and formatting panel

This is the first time I see a calculator requires writing "degrees" to calculate the sin(90). I am sorry, but this is very strange. At least give the user the option to decide whether to use radians or degrees ... just like all other calculators, rather than writing "degree" every time! VERY STRANGE!

I need to second this one.
Typing degree (and figuring out where to type it) and then checking if you entered it in the right place etc, etc is pretty maddening. I feel I constantly need to double check the answer in case I missed it somewhere.
In Maths, they want radians, in engineering, they want degrees. In neither scenario do I want to be questioning my answers endlessly if I forget to type out the whole word degrees.
A per-sheet setting (I use different sheets per topic/subject/project) would be awesome. Along with maybe a series of glyphs along the top showing the settings for that sheet (degrees - sci/eng notation - decimal places - etc)
* It's also ⌥⌘8 for the degree symbol.

Ben Kirton: I agree with ALL your points.
Another way of getting the per sheet setting could be to invoke a command at the top of the sheet: set_trigmode = degrees or something of that kind. Anyone setting trigmode either to degrees or to radians would be guaranteed not to have to worry about this for the rest of the worksheet.
This would allow those who actually like the current approach to either go on as before, or to switch contexts with the new command as often as they'd like.

Perhaps not the most helpful workaround, but instead of
degree(s)
, you can also type °
using ⌥⌘8. I find it quicker than typing out the word, but see how it works for you.(For Zac: I think I’ve voiced this before, but personally I quite like the current approach, as I switch between radians and degrees based on context.)

Other notepad calculators (like Numi, Calca, Wolfram Alpha, Math.js, etc) don't include a preference/option, but if you need this I can recommend Soulver 2 (http://www.acqualia.com/soulver/) (it has a toggle for this in the formatting bar).

Zac @ Soulver: I've purchased Soulver 3, does that mean I'm entitled to Soulver 2 so that I can toggle to degrees?
I just visited that webpage, but I'm not seeing any option to download Soulver 2.
Zac @ Soulver
Daniel Brown: You can download Soulver 2 from here (it doesn't require a serial number): https://soulver.app/download-soulver-2
