I'm aware that beginning to type a variable name and then hitting the Escape key auto-completes filling it in. Thank you for adding that! I just find the Escape key awkward to reach, and I never remember it because my brain doesn't work that way ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I tend to use long and descriptive multi-word variable names in my calculations, which means I end up having to repeatedly copy and paste them back and forth as I work on my calculations.

This is a more 'spatial' solution to the same problem, and one I personally would find more 'obvious' and thus easier to remember. I think others would appreciate having the option.

I realise that this is a 'long-tail' feature, that probably doesn't add enough meaningful utility to justify the effort, but if you never ask…
