Generic Quantity unit types

I would love this feature too.
I wouldn't even necessarily need custom units.
Most of the time the unit x would be enough for me.
I use this to make sure I'm calculating things correctly. For example I would use x for pages and then have like 5 x per 3 minutes. And being able to convert that into x/hour would be awesome.
Currently I use a unit which I won't use in this context e.g. m. But having a generic unit x (or even being able to create new units and convert between them) would be super awesome.

Custom unit types

Being able to add custom unit types and define custom units as equivalence of other custom units (or none, for at least one by type) would truly allow us to any units we might find missing.
At the moment, I feel like "custom unit" is a bit misleading as I can't even add pressure units myself without a hack (a fake equivalence).
Thanks!

I currently have FLOPs as a unit of energy convertible to joules to work around this :P
