Search has been redesigned & improved in version 3.15.2. iOS searching is planned.

Orlando L. Yes the search feature was rewritten & is much improved in 3.15.2 in the Mac version.

I would find very useful to have a search bar. I use Soulver extensively and tend to accumulate many Sheets which overtime become harder to locate within the apps. (I am not fond of using Spotlight for searching app specific content. Prefer to use either a Finder window search or an app specific search bar)
