CurrencyLayer (https://currencylayer.com/currencies) which we use for currencies + gold/silver doesn't support these precious metals out-of-the-box.

One (less than ideal but possibly better than nothing) option is to use the Wolfram|Alpha integration to get these prices. Wolfram integration is supported in both the direct download version (via an API key) or the App Store versions (via an extra subscription), or complementary in the Setapp version.
