This was added to Soulver 3.13. You can now configure Soulver to make a sheet or a Soulver file on launch.

The only thing holding me back from upgrading from Soulver 2!
What does everybody else do? Just select all & delete every time you want to start new calculations, or is there a better way?

This hadn’t occurred to me (I guess I use QuickSoulver instead?), but as a user of Drafts, I 100% get this.
If implemented, I would absolutely try to use this setting for a week or two and see if it sticks.
If I’m launching Soulver to view an existing document, it often isn’t the most recently edited anyway, so launching to a blinking cursor wouldn’t any extra clicks/keystrokes.
And for the sheets I very frequently revisit, I've probably set up a shortcut to launch via Alfred using its
x-soulver://x-callback-url/open?&id=…
link anyway.Zac @ Soulver

Thanks for the feedback Michael, this is a fair request.
